When the iconic central mosque was recently rebuilt in the capital of Kumasi, Ghana’s Ashanti region, the Muslim community, in particular, was overjoyed.
The Chief Imam Dr. Nuhu Sharubutu commissioned the Kumasi Central Mosque which has been renovated to a much more beautiful state on Friday, March 3, 2023. Among the dignitaries who attended the ceremony were the Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and his wife, Samira Bawumia, as well as the Asante King, Asantehene Otumfuor Osei Tutu II.
Religious Bodies Have Also Joined The Fun In Tourism!
Apart from the Asantehene Otumfuor Osei Tutu II and Vice-President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, there were other dignitaries, who attended the ceremony.
The Asantehene gave a speech in which he urged the Muslim leaders to keep an ever-present eye on the project through prayer and the efforts of all people, as well as to keep the country’s peace and harmony.
