It was exceptionally heartbreaking for the world when news broke that American NBA hotshot Kobe Bryant had passed on with his 13-year old girl Gianna, in a helicopter crash. They died alongside nine others with whom they were traveling with on the plane.
It’s been 8 months now since that terrible news broke out, but Vanessa Bryant (spouse of Kobe) has recently been reminded of that episode through the dearest friend of her daughter Gianna.
Vanessa recently received a letter of support from Gianna’s companion called Aubrey. A day after she got the message, which is on the 26th of January, 2021, she shared it on her Instagram page for the world to also see. It read:
“Today I received this sweet letter from one of Gianna’s best friends, Aubrey. “I love you Aubz (as my Gigi would call you). Thank you so much for beautifully sharing some of your memories of my Gigi with me and allowing me to share them here on my ig.”
In the letter, Aubrey adulated Gianna’s “love forever” and told Vanessa, “You did it right Mrs. Bryant, and we are all eternally grateful to you.”
In a quick reply to Aubrey ( Gianna’s close buddy), Vanessa wrote:
“My Gigi is INCREDIBLE and I truly appreciate your thoughtful letter. She loves you so much. I miss my baby girl and Kob-Kob so much, too. [heart emoji] I will never understand why/how this tragedy could’ve happened to such beautiful, kind and amazing human beings. It still doesn’t seem real.”
In the interim, Vanessa has how much she misses the NBA whiz and their second-oldest daughter, adding that she actually experiences difficulty understanding the entire misfortune that came to pass for her family.
Kobe and Gianna died in a helicopter crash that took nine lives on the morning of June 26, 2020.
