
The final burial service for the late Member of Parliament for Ejisu and Deputy Finance Minister , John Ampontuah Kumah falls off today May 18.
The funeral rites is happening at Onwe, a suburb of Ejisu, in the Ashanti region where his one-week celebration was also held.
Dr. John Ampontuah Kumah died on Thursday March 7 at 45 years old, leaving behind a spouse and six children.
Family members, supporters, and constituents gathered to observe the appearance of the late MP’s remains on Friday May 17. Endless number of people were filled with sorrow when his body showed up at the venue.
Ghana’s Deputy Finance Minister Has Passed On
Dr. John Ampontuah Kumah’s body was carried to his Donaso home, where the burial service will happen.
President of the land, Nana Akufo-Addo will lead a powerful designation to the Ashanti Region to grieve the late lawyer, politian and entrepreneur.
Funeral arrangements:
• Laying in State: Saturday, 18 May 2024, at Onwie Roman Catholic School Park, starting at 5 am.
• Burial Service: Saturday, 18 May 2024, at Onwe Roman Catholic School Park, starting at 10 am.
• Interment: Saturday, 18 May 2024, at Aduapakye Royal Cemetery.
• Final Funeral Rites: Onwie Roman Catholic School Park, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Saturday, 18 May 2024.
• Thanksgiving Service: Sunday, 19 May 2024, at Onwe Roman Catholic School Park.
