However, in 2013, Robert Kardashian Sr., passed away. His former wife Ellen Pearson Kardashian gave his diary to “In Touch.” Robert wrote about the tragic childhoods of Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, and Rob Kardashian in the journals, which caused quite a stir.

In addition, he painted a scathing picture of Kris Jenner, his ex-wife, in which she was accused of cheating on him-of which the incident occurred between 1989 and 1990. Following this, the Kardashians filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against Ellen.

According to the entries in her diary, Kris Jenner had no concern for her children and frequently left them alone for days. According to Court House News, Rob wrote,

“Kris was kicking and beating [Kim] and said she was going to kill her! ” in one of the entries from August 24, 1989. Kim was hilarious.

Robert Sr. wrote this on December 15, 1989,

“She doesn’t leave a number in case of emergency. She doesn’t care!” In another entry, he penned, “She left [the] kids and screwed all night!”

A further 10 days later, late Robert made the observation that Kris couldn’t even get her life in order to be with the four children and her children alone on Christmas.

The Kardashians, on the other hand, claimed that they had no knowledge of this secret diary when the secrets were revealed in a prominent tabloid. In addition, the family claimed that Ellen Pearson had other motives for concealing the diary and family photos from them.

The diary’s contents were worth millions, and Pearsons had already granted Bauer Publishing LP a license to publish the journal excerpts in a “bookazine” format. However, the Kardashian family filed a $500,000 copyright violation and conversion lawsuit against Ellen. In addition, they demanded the return of their assets and property.

“Kris Jenner and Kimberly, Khloé, Kourtney, and Robert (Jr.) Kardashian have settled their lawsuit against Ellen Pearson Kardashian,” the attorney, Even Spiegel, told an article in E!Online. The Kardashians have received their photos and diaries back, and the settlement’s other terms remain private. Ellen will continue her defamation case in state court.
