The Ghana Economic Forum 2020 Is Underway: Event Is To Address Issues Of The Economy

The ninth edition of the Ghana Economic Forum (GEF) is in progress at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra.

This year’s function is themed ‘Resetting the economy beyond COVID-19; Building economic resilience and self-sufficiency

The two-day event will welcome on board Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta and other ministers of state; Governor of the central bank of Ghana, Dr. Ernest Addison; heads of state institutions and organizations; Secretary General of the African Continental Free Trade Area, Wamkele Mene; Managing Directors of banks, CEOs of top institutions; and other driving members from the scholastic community.

Conversations at the function will fixate around points on the economy, energy sector, agriculture sector, continental free trade, among others.

The Ghana Economic Forum’s first edition came off in 2012, uniting the giants of industry and leaders to examine and discuss main points of contention affecting the Ghanaian economy and offer answers to improve the country’s monetary advancement plans.

The forum is the premier innovative power for connecting with the country’s top business leaders in shared activities to shape the country’s monetary plan.

For a very long time, the Ghana Economic Forum’s central goal has driven strategies pointed toward guiding Ghana’s economy on the correct way.

The function targets bringing out new reasoning and strategic decisions to help shape the country’s plan for economic growth.

The Keynote speaker for the event is his Excellency the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. Other proposed Speakers are:
