
The first edition of the Ghana Music Awards-USA fell off last Saturday, October 10 at the Show Boat Atlantic, in New Jersey. The occasion was a ritzy ceremony which had several entertainers being honored.
Remarkably, the GMA-USA ceremony commenced with a black-carpet function which was graced by several superstars from the entertainment industry just as influential characters from both Ghana and the United States.
The Awards show saw top music Artistes perform to the crowd present. Eno Barony, Archipelago, Kaykay Amponsah, Millicent Yankee, Fletcher Narh, Stella Seal, Naana Baustin, Keche, Fameye among others were all fantastic in their stage performance.
Ghana Music Awards USA was also watched by more than a great many people from everywhere around world and was streamed live on Kofi TV and Kantanka TV (Ghanaian stations).
Before the show, the board of the Awards led by the CEO, Dennis Boafo guaranteed fans of an extraordinary show without any hindrance, and they indeed executed their promise.
Notwithstanding the challenge of pulling off the Awards amidst the Covid pandemic, it was successfully pulled off. The board is already planning the next edition.

Seemingly, Africa’s best rapper Sarkodie won the Artistes of the Year while Nana NYC won the USA Based Artiste of the Year.
