The Great Meeting Between Asantehene And Ga Mantse

Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and Ga Mantse, Nii Teiko Tsuru II

Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has revealed what the Asantes and Gas will actually want to achieve in Ghana with the weapon of solidarity and harmony close by.

He offered these remarks when Ga Mantse, Nii Teiko Tsuru II paid a courtesy call on him at the Manhyia Palace on Thursday, September 12, 2024.

As indicated by Otumfuo, the union between the two empires is beautiful, and extended it as a model for the world to gain from.

He further expressed that, he believes peace and development dwell in the excellence of solidarity thus should be taken to the heart.

“It’s all brotherly love. He (Ga Mantse) left his home and stayed with me for about a week for my anniversary celebrations. So when I went to Accra, I decided to go extend my felicitations. He received us with a beautiful event. I enjoyed it very much and didn’t even want to leave.”

Asantehene prayed that the brotherly love they had begun would be strengthened, and he was pleased by it.

“It’s all love. I pray to God it grows to procreate unity so we live in harmony and understanding. When we unite, Ghana will taste peace and development. We will do exploits in unity. Let’s unite and make it beautiful.”

Otumfuo also took advantage of the meeting to honor his GHc500,000 commitment to the Ga Mantse Foundation’s education of Ga youth.

Speaking on behalf of Nii Ga through linguist Otseame Laryea II, Nii Ahene Nunoo, the Paramount Chief of Abo La, said their visit was all about their appreciation to the Asante King.

When Otumfuo was celebration his 25th Commemoration, Nii Ga came to help. After that Otumfuo accompanied by Asanteman also came to Accra and was given a warm gathering with a durbar.

As a result, the Ga State came to say thanks to Otumfuo for having them covered, particularly the Ga Mantse, Nii Teiko Tsuru II. They additionally said thanks to Otumfuo for the commitment he made towards the Ga Mantse Foundation.

Naa Suomo, the Queen of Mamprobi, Dr. Bishop Lawrence Tetteh, the Founder and President of Worldwide Miracle Outreach, Nii Boye Abbey, a member of his office, and Edward Darlington, his attorney, were all members of the Ga Mantse delegation.

The Asantehene and the Ga Manste later held closed-door interactions at the Palace.
