Huawei has been one of the biggest disruptors in the smartphone industry in the past few years, and whether the Chinese company’s latest phones can run Google apps or not, it’s undeniable that they continue to contribute to the quicker development of new hardware features and a great deal of innovation that ultimately has a positive effect on the entire phone world.
Huawei is back with another set of stunning leader phones called the Huawei Mate 60, Huawei Mate 60 Pro, and the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ (every one of the three models look almost indistinguishable and they are for the most part isolated by their camera systems).
What’s similarly essentially as fascinating as the delightful design of the Mate 60 Pro is Huawei’s decision to deliver its new flagship (in China) weeks before the biggest cell phone launch of the year, which happens on September 12 when the iPhone 15 series is supposed to be officially launched.
And while the “2.5D curved front glass on all sides, with thinner, symmetrical display borders and a Dynamic Island cutout” is what we expect to see from the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max/Ultra, Huawei also delivered on Apple’s own “promise” weeks before the iPhone 15 Pro, and with an even more intriguing twist.
Apple’s New iPhone 15 ‘Arrives’. Here’s What To Know
Two weeks before the iPhone 15 Pro’s launch, Huawei’s Mate 60 Pro and Mate 60 Pro+ include three ‘Dynamic Islands’ to remind Apple of who came up with the idea first. Apple’s ‘Dynamic Island’ replaced the notch on premium iPhones almost exactly a year ago. Despite the fact that the iPhone 14 Pro Max has been the year’s best-selling phone, it appears that Apple users have adopted the concept of The Island.
Interestingly, iPhone is by all accounts taking motivation from Huawei, taking a gander at the staggering elements of the “Dynamic Island”. The iPhone 14 Pro from Apple also has software that joins multiple display cutouts together.
Huawei Unveils Its Latest Phone ‘Mate X3’
Huawei used an indistinguishable pill-molded pattern as far as possible back in 2020 for the Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Ace leads. It housed a bunch of comparative 3D face-opening sensors like the ones in iPhone 14 Pro, which followed two years after the fact.
As it were, the Huawei Mate 60 Pro recovers the “Dynamic Island” design with Face ID that the organization spearheaded a long time back and essentially moves it from the left side of the display to the middle.
Huawei’s most recent interpretation of the “Dynamic Island” cutout is really three cutouts. The phone lets you choose a unified display cutout that makes the Huawei Mate 60 Pro’s “island” look like the Huawei P40 Pro, which might have been Apple’s first idea for the new iPhone design.
Like the three holes on the Huawei Mate 60 Pro, the “Dynamic Island” unified cutout is actually made up of two separate designs that Apple stitched together using software. Apple, in contrast to Huawei, prevents you from selecting to view both holes.
We haven’t seen a lot of the Huawei Mate 60 Pro’s distinctive features before. The phone uses a double tone back plan on the back; The fact that the bottom portion of the back is actually made of aluminum is a first for Huawei since the old Huawei P10 (2017), which is amazing. The aluminum nearly consistently mixes into the top part of the phone’s back which is made out of fake calfskin.
The Mate 60 Pro also has super thin symmetrical display borders, similar to the ones expected in Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro. For the record, the only phone-makers that managed a fully symmetrical display look all around (so far) are Apple, Google, Samsung, Nothing, and Huawei (in that chronological order).
Following an extended break, we can see the run of the mill Huawei camera ring get back in the saddle, giving the Mate 60 Ace an exceptionally exquisite look particularly close to the iPhone 14 Pro and Galaxy S23 Ultra.
