During her recent performance in Las Vegas, the singer spoke about the agonizing ear infection that has rendered her partially deaf. She said that it was “worse than childbirth.”

She did, however, make it clear that the painful ear infection is improving.

“It is the most painful thing that ever, ever happened to me in my life. It was worse than childbirth,” she said.

During her summer tour in Munich, the Grammy winner claimed to have contracted a rare water bacteria.

She claimed that it is difficult to treat, and for a few days she was taking the wrong antibiotics. Adele said that she is doing well now, but that her left ear is “a little deaf.”

She emphasized that she could not have missed the Las Vegas Residency show despite her hearing loss.

Adele did not go into any further detail about her condition, but she had previously talked about the first time she became a mother.

In 2012, the singer gave birth to her son Angelo, whom she and her ex-husband Simon Konecki are the proud parents of.

Adele revealed in November 2021 that she believes she will never fully regain certain aspects of herself when she talked about the changes in her life that have occurred since becoming a parent.

She said the loss of independence that comes with being a parent, stating that she has had to make concessions regarding her activities as her child has become her primary focus.

The singer is slowly learning to let go of Angelo now that he is older. Additionally, she expressed the possibility of having additional children with her partner, sports agent Rich Paul.
