
Adinkra International Arts And Crafts show has been Unveiled by the tourism ministry at the Papaye Recreational Village in Aburi.
Minister-designate for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Hon. Egyapa Mercer says the Adinkra International Arts and Culture Show marks a significant occasion on our national calendar on the arts and culture ecosystem and consequently impacts tourism.
In a statement, read on his behalf by the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Hon. Mark Okraku Mantey, he said the event is a way for observing Ghana’s cultural richness and artistic resourcefulness, which repeats the country’s charming inheritance at the global level.
He praised and stretched out his appreciation to the Ghana Export & Promotion Authority (GEPA), an organization under the Service of Exchange and Industry for leading the drive, which vows to raise Ghana’s presence in the global artworks field.
He said tourism, arts and culture have long distinguished Ghana globally, from historic cultural festivals like the Pan African Festival of Arts and Culture (PANAFEST) to contemporary spectacles like the ”Chale Wote” Festival and the “Year of Return.”
According to him, these cultural initiatives not only captivate audiences worldwide but promote the sector, drawing in guests anxious to drench themselves in Ghana’s lively social embroidery, while working on the financial possibilities of Ghana’s loved artisans, engaging their specialists to flourish in the global market.

The Adinkra International Arts and Culture Show offers a platform to display the exquisite craftsmanship of artisans and fills in as a reference point of monetary strengthening and social protection, reaffirming an obligation to universally protect and promote the country’s culture.
