How To Get There:
Boti Waterfalls is located in Boti, near Koforidua, in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The journey is quite straightforward, whether you’re coming from Accra or another part of the country.
From Accra to Boti Waterfalls, it’s approximately 2-3 Hours drive with a private car.
Take the Accra-Tema Motorway and connect to the Accra-Koforidua road via Adenta and Aburi. From Koforidua, drive towards Nkurakan and continue to Boti (about 30-40 minutes from Koforidua). The waterfall entrance is well-signposted.
Take a tro-tro or VIP bus from Accra to Koforidua (about 2 hours). At Koforidua’s main lorry station, board a local taxi or tro-tro to Boti township (30-40 minutes). From Boti, you can take a short motorbike or taxi ride to the waterfalls.
From Kumasi to Boti Waterfalls is (Approx. 4-5 Hours). Take a bus from Kumasi to Koforidua. From Koforidua, follow the same steps as above (take a taxi or tro-tro to Boti).
Best Time to Visit: The waterfalls are most spectacular during the rainy season (June–August) when the water flow is at its peak. However, for a more relaxed experience, visit in the dry season (November–March) when the trails are easier to hike.
