The FIFA Club World Cup competition reached a conclusion on Saturday February 12, with Chelsea beating Brazilian side Palmeiras 2-1 in the finals to emerge as Champions.
Lukaku headed Chelsea into the lead during a more open starting to the final part, but after some minutes, Palmeiras got the equaliser through a penalty. An additional time penalty gave the Blues the win.
At the end of the competition, Thiago Silva has been crowned UAE 2021’s best player. Meriting players for the Club World Cup Tournament in the UAE, which started on February 3- and ended on Saturday February 12, were also awarded for their fantastic performance on the field of play.
The Adidas Golden Ball: went to Chelsea’s Thiago Silva with other honors going for other incredible players who showed class during the competition.
