Ghanaian sports journalist Thierry Nyann has announced his departure from Media General after a successful 10-year tenure.
Nyann worked for the award-winning media company for over a decade. The sportscaster hosted a number of shows, including “Ghana’s Strongest,” “Sports Station,” and “Warm Up,” at TV3 and 3FM, a Media General conglomerate.
Nyann has left his position as Head of 3Sports and Sports Presenter by posting his final goodbye letter on his social media handles. He made a significant contribution to the organization.
In the letter that was seen by oseiagyemang.com, the host talked about how the people in the outfit have helped him grow over the years.
“I attained a really good personal brand in the 10 years at Media General while playing a part in growing a number of shows and products. Becoming the Head of 3Sports was immense and I am proud to have served my department.”
He also expressed his gratitude for the assistance he received while working as a department head and sports journalist.
“I have made a lot of friends in my time at MG and some across several departments have become family. I will miss you all”.
“To CEO, Madam Beatrice Agyemang, no one can tell me otherwise about your love and care for me and I appreciate all the advice and support. You will always have a special place in my heart. To the COO, Mr Nuamah-Eshun, thank you immensely. And to all part of the sports family, I love you all.”
According to Nyann, his wish was to remain at Media General for a much longer period, but he has to move to the next chapter of his life.
