This Is Democratic Candidate Tim Walz’s First Fundraiser At Hamptons

Actor and comedian Chris Rock was present at Tim Walz’s recent fundraising event.

On Thursday August 15, Rock and television host Joy Behar were spotted at a Hamptons fundraising event organized by Minnesota Gov. and Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz, where tickets cost up to $150,000.

Meanwhile, Kamala Harris, the Presidential candidate, was unable to attend the event. Regardless, Walz surprised many in the crowd by pulling them in.

Slack and Away CEOs Jen Rubio and Stuart Butterfield hosted the fundraiser at their Southampton residence.

Mumford & Sons provided a wide range of entertainment and food, including lobster rolls and chicken sammies on the menu.

Some attendees said that there was a lot of fun and a lot of positive energy in the air.

The fundraising event cost anywhere from $150,000 to $6,600 (with limited availability) for tickets. As a matter of fact, all levels of tickets were completely sold out.

Walz kept his cool and watched as the event progressed, despite the room’s high spenders.

As per reports, Kamala Harris did not attend the East End event because the summer is about to end, but she will attend a larger fundraiser in New York City this fall.

This month, there are additional events, one of which is scheduled for August 31.
