This Is What Happened At Amakye Dede’s Birthday Concert

Highlife music legend Amakye Dede recently celebrated his birthday. A concert that featured performances by other music stars marked the anniversary. On January 7, guests and invited guests were treated to continuous music at Bayview Village, which is located at Atomic junction in Accra.

Charles Amoah, Lee Dodou, Kofi Kinaata, and a few other highlife music stars were at their best as they gracefully entertained guests at the event. They demonstrated why they are hitmakers, but when Amakye Dede took over the microphone, he demonstrated his point with a phenomenal performance.

His selection of music, lyrics, audience participation, and stage command were all exceptional. Amakye Dede and his band never stopped putting on a fantastic show that had people dancing and standing until they couldn’t.

Amakye, better known as “Iron Boy,” was at his limit when one of the night’s MCs, Abeiku Santana, introduced him to the audience. Andy Dosty, the event’s DJ, was also “on high” because he played and blended the music so well during interludes.

The performance of Lee Dodou in “Ahumatia” was outstanding. Charles Amoah’s ‘Asaawa Do’ was “off the hook,” and Kofi Kinaata and his senior highlife legends shared an incredible masterpiece.

Amakye Dede’s birthday concert was very exciting overall! with a large audience that thoroughly enjoyed the event.
