Attorney General Dr. Dominic Ayine disclosed that he has a recording of Dr. Ernest Addison, the former governor of the Bank of Ghana, when national security recently stormed his home during his media briefing regarding the most recent developments on ORAL and other related corruption investigations.
In his statements, he said the minority in Parliament is making a big deal out of the probes, giving the impression that the previous administration had never engaged in this kind of operations.
Dr. Ayine went on to say that, although he had been a victim of a raid of that nature during the previous administration, he remained composed until everything was over. He said, before he could begin his investigation, they produced their warrant.
In response to National Security’s pursuit of dishonest officials, the AG claim to have given the order for the ongoing operations but has always cautioned them against behaving carelessly in the process.
Dr. Ayine further revealed that, he has a sensitive comment made by the governor in a video during the recent raid on the former BoG’s house, and he will leak it to the media if the minority dares him to do so.
