Serwaa Amihere (in white) dances with the widows and single parents during the donation
The Serwaa Amihere Foundation, established by Ghanaian media character and GhOne television anchor Serwaa Amihere, has showed benevolence to other less fortunate ones; by giving them gifts this Christmas.
The “Red Roses Christmas Charity” event was held by the Foundation, and it provided widows and single mothers with a variety of freebies, including a free screening, free registration for national health insurance, funds for business start-ups, distribution of various food items, and more. The event also attracted a lot of Ghanaian celebrities, including actress Fella Makafui, Nana Aba Anamoah, Sandra Ankobiah, Akumaa Mama Zimbi, Piesie Esther and some others.
A few musicians performed for the widows and single parents apart from the items received.
The Serwaa Amihere Foundation has done this throughout the long term, and has kept it as a yearly event to put smiles on the faces of widows and single parents who face heaps of challenges taking care of themselves and their children.
