In February 2021, ‘The Little Things’ director John Lee Hancock gave an overview of the film’s gripping and shocking ending that made viewers question just one thing, ‘Who is the killer?’. During the interview three years ago, Hancock said that he wanted the ending to have that certain level of shock value.
“I always felt there would be a section of the audience that would prefer a very formulaic ending, and there’s nothing wrong with that. I wanted to try and do something that was different”, he said.
Meanwhile, Jared Leto’s performance in the film earned him two nominations – The Best Supporting Actor categories at both the Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild Awards.
