
On December 30, 2024, at the Ghana National Theatre the staff of the Tourism Ministry hosted a special Staff Durbar for the departing Minister, Deputy Minister, and Chief Director of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture.
With insightful and thought-provoking remarks, the departing Hon. Minister motivated the staff. He talked extensively about a variety of topics, including the meaning of life and the significance of making a difference wherever they find themselves. He underlined the importance of maintaining integrity and patriotism in their day-to-day activities.
Following suit, Hon. Deputy Minister Mark Okraku Mantey urged the employees to continue being assiduous and dedicated to their work under the new administration. He underlined the significance of preserving an environment at work that encouraged innovation and creativity.
In addition to thanking the Minister and Deputy for their leadership and assistance, Chief Director Mr. Robert Patrick Ankobiah urged staff members to adopt a holistic lifestyle by prioritizing their intellectual, spiritual, and physical well-being.

The Acting Chief Director and Director of Human Resources, Mr. Vitus Otto Langmagne, also underlined the value of cooperation and unity within the ministry, stressing the crucial part that every employee must play in influencing the country’s cultural landscape.
Following the speeches, the staff had a chance to express their gratitude for the knowledge and experiences they had gained while working at the ministry. Among other things, they commended the joy and relationships that exist, the renovations that have given the ministry’s infrastructure a new look, and the successful realignment of various agencies.
