American actor, director, producer, and screenwriter Tyler Perry has sealed a project with an extra 37.5 sections of land on the southwest corner of his Atlanta studios, which will be committed to a new entertainment district and open to the general population.
The development plans will comprise a supermarket, eateries, shopping, midrise private units – likely four stories of lofts and additionally apartment suites – over the shops, and numerous theaters, including a mega 3,500-seat scene.
As indicated by the billionaire, the performance center will be a destination, and this takes him back to his roots in theater. Perry is pleased that he can also do his own live shows here.
The new place will also have a Tyler Perry Studios gallery, which will fill in as a beginning stage for tours through the bigger 330 section of land parcel.
Since he got things started on the first Fort Mac studio part, Perry is generally proud with what the new development will mean for the encompassing neighborhoods, giving employment opportunities for the local area.

The purchase coincided with a deal for the equilibrium of land at Fort MacPherson purchased by religious leader, creator, and movie producer, T.D. Jakes. So this is what Perry said about his new neighbor.
”I’m looking forward to collaborating with my friend T.D. Jakes on his separate but adjacent project and I also want to thank Governor Kemp and Mayor Bottoms for their continued efforts to make Atlanta a better place.”
Meanwhile, Atlanta Mayor, Keisha Lance Bottoms said the new development will, mark another fantastic section throughout the entire existence of Fort Mac.
He expressed gratitude toward Tyler Perry and Bishop TD Jakes for their vision and interest in the Southwest Atlanta community. The Mayor says the good impact will be felt for a long time into the future.
Perry’s project is expected to be finished within 3 to 5 years.
