American actor, director, producer, and screenwriter Tyler Perry has sealed a project with an extra 37.5 sections of land on the southwest corner of his Atlanta studios, which will be committed to a new entertainment district and open to the general population.

The development plans will comprise a supermarket, eateries, shopping, midrise private units – likely four stories of lofts and additionally apartment suites – over the shops, and numerous theaters, including a mega 3,500-seat scene.

Meanwhile, Atlanta Mayor, Keisha Lance Bottoms said the new development will, mark another fantastic section throughout the entire existence of Fort Mac.

He expressed gratitude toward Tyler Perry and Bishop TD Jakes for their vision and interest in the Southwest Atlanta community. The Mayor says the good impact will be felt for a long time into the future.

Perry’s project is expected to be finished within 3 to 5 years.
