Tyra Banks, an American television personality, model, producer, writer, and actress, has talked about her struggle to become a top model since she was 15 years old.
The 49-year-old recalled how she struggled to become a model by shifting between events to have her face on magazines.
Tyra Banks, who was the first African-American woman to appear on the covers of GQ and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue three times, claims that she walked the streets of Paris, going from casting to casting, in the hope of being chosen.
She posted this on her Instagram page as a way to inspire others who are pursuing their goals. From 1997 to 2005, BanX was a Victoria’s Secret Angel. She was one of the highest-earning models in the world at the start of the 2000s. Her post is as follows:
“As a teenager, I walked the streets of Paris, going from casting to casting, hoping to get chosen”.
“Cut to decades later… Moments after the @louisvuitton x @kidsuper men’s fashion show, and I have no shame in getting my pose on in front of the @museelouvre rocking a Louis cap Colm gave me and a golden kaftan I picked up from an Abu Dhabi desert hotel gift shop.”
Every #Paris street is a photo studio. Remember that. 💪🏽🇫🇷📸
