U-20 AFCON Q: Ghana Makes Headway, As Musibau’s Two Beautiful Goals Seals It Against Niger

Ghana’s Black Satellites got a win at the ongoing U-20 WAFU B Cup of Nations Title by beating Niger 2 – 0 on Sunday, October 20.

Aziz Musibau scored twice in the second half to lead Ghana to victory picking up all the three points.

Prior to the Niger match, Ghana faced Benin in their second Group A fixture and got a 2-2 draw in that game.

Both Ghana and Niger came into this match looking for their first three points after Niger also playing out a 2-2 draw with Togo in their first game.

The two teams had an extraordinary beginning to the game making a great deal of chances in the first 30 minutes of the game. However, in the first half, neither of them was able to score.

In the 63rd minute, Ghana made the breakthrough. Musibau beat the Nigerien goalkeeper with a long-range work to give the Black Satellites the lead.

Musibau was on the scoresheet 10 minutes after the fact to double the lead for Ofei’s side extending the lead.
