UBA Induct Third Batch Of Its New GMAP Staff

UBA Ghana has welcomed 44 new staff members through its Graduate Management Accelerated Programme (GMAP) which ended in May 2024.

This is the third cluster of the new inductees, following the effective completion of the program by 14 and 40 members in the first and second groups respectively.

The graduates have been extremely industrious and committed during the half year program.

The training was joined with classroom education and hands on experiences. The Management program is intended to level up their abilities and set them up for their jobs within the bank. 49 people began the program, but 44 graduated and were on-boarded to join the Bank.

With this, UBA will keep on building the limit of staff to further grow productivity.

Uzoechina Molokwu, Managing Director and CEO of UBA Ghana, congratulated the new employees and urged them to work hard to justify their hiring and enhance the bank’s productivity.

He urged them to maintain UBA’s exclusive requirements by encapsulating the bank’s fundamental values of the three E’s — Excellence, Enterprise, and Execution.

He gave important direction to the new staff, asking them to focus on self-awareness and put resources into their development to accomplish professional success.

The new staff were urged to keep an engaged outlook, appreciate their current resources, and practice financial discipline. They were also reminded to stick to laid out rules, focusing on the requirement for discipline and responsibility in their professional duties.

With so much passion, the recently enlisted staff also vowed to carry their most extreme devotion and mastery to the institution, committed to driving the bank’s continued growth and success.

The Graduate Management Accelerated Programme (GMAP) has been introduced by the Bank to train and recruit new hires to fill up critical vacancies, help reduce unemployment, and develop critical human capital for the Bank.
