Ghana’s domination began in the sixth minute when Jordan Ayew opened the score with a looping drive.
In the 12th minute, Nations FC defender Razak Simpson doubled Ghana’s advantage with a strong header— his first goal for his country.
Mohammed Fuseini completed an outstanding team move just before halftime to make it 3-0.
Ghana’s fourth goal came in the 59th minute of the second half when Lawrence Agyekum took advantage of a mistake made by Trinidad’s goalie.
With complete control over the opposition and exceptional player performances, the Black Stars were outstanding throughout the match.

The 20-year-old winger Christopher Bonsu Baah of Genk, a team in Belgium, constantly tested the Trinidad and Tobago defense with his dribbling and aggressive play.
Midfielder, Caleb Yirenkyi showed adaptability and defensive skill by adjusting successfully to a right-back position. He was fantastic in the game.
Throughout the game, captain Jordan Ayew set an example by scoring and dishing out two assists— depicting him as an incredible leader.
Mohammed Fuseini, who had a lovely synergy with Captain Jordan Ayew, was as tough for the opposition to crack as he was all over the field, tormenting the Trinidad team.
After more than 20 years, the competition returned with the 2025 Unity Cup, which included Trinidad and Tobago, Ghana, Nigeria, and Jamaica.

Ghana had already suffered a 2-1 defeat to Nigeria in the semifinals, while Trinidad and Tobago were edged out by Jamaica 3-2.
