Award winning Ghanaian Filmmaker Shirley Frimpong-Manso has released one more work of art film named “Us In Between“. The film is based on real events, and recounts the tale of how the Covid pandemic has influenced human existence.
‘Us In Between’ was co-produced by Shirley and Ken Attoh for Sparrow Productions. The film features top Ghanaian actors like John Dumelo, Lydia Forson, Adjetey Anang, Oscar Provencal, Gloria Sarfo, Senanu Gbedawu, and John Dumelo. Others are David Dontoh, Nikki Samonas, Mary Yirenkyi and Michelle Attoh.
The anecdote about this Coronavirus film is stunning, as a lively medical attendant in Ghana prompts her hospital management board to plan ahead, while managing another sentimental relationship that will test her confidence in love, battling to stay alive as her city records its first case of the infection and things start to go appallingly amiss.
Some scenes in the film were shot during the lockdown time frame in Ghana, regardless of the fact that it was an exceptionally challenging move to both the cast, directors and producers.
“Us In Between” is devoted to all forefront workers in the battle against the flare-up, and as usual, a production from Shirley is no different from quality. The film is relied upon to be accessible for public viewing in the coming weeks.
Shirley Frimpong Manso is known for award-winning movies such as ‘Perfect Picture’, ‘Potato Potahto’, ‘6 Hours to Christmas’, ‘Devil in the Detail’, ‘A Sting in a Tale’, among others. Shirley has built a delightful brand for herself in the film business for quite a while at this point.
