Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has become the first person in the world to reach at 400 million followers on Instagram.

The 37-year-old was the first person to get 200m followers in January 2020 and has now seen that figure twofold in a little more than two years.

On Instagram, Ronaldo’s posts are for the most part, about his family, football and a periodic promotion of his brand, CR7.

The Portugal international is second just to Instagram’s official handle that brags 469m followers as at February 7, 2022.

Ronaldo’s account has over 6,600 posts covering a scope of subjects and most recent updates from Team Instagram.

Ronaldo celebrated his 37th birthday on Saturday February 5 and posted a photo that got practically 14M Likes.

“Life is a roller coaster. Hard work, high speed, urgent goals, demanding expectations.

“But in the end, it all comes down to family, love, honesty, friendship, values that make it all worth it. Thanks for all the messages! 37 and counting!”

He wrote the above to thank his followers for their endearing wishes.
