
The government of Ghana has signed a visa waiver agreement with eight (8) nations, as a component of endeavors to further improve service conveyance in regard to passport administration both in Ghana and its missions abroad.
The nations who are in this agreement are: Qatar, Jamaica, Suriname, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Guyana, Venezuela and Malta.

Now, authorities from these nations delivery Diplomatic, Service and Offical international IDs (passports) will be absolved from applying for visas while entering Ghana as well as the other way around.
As per the government of Ghana, it has found ideal ways to enhance service delivery relating to passport administration in Ghana and its missions abroad.
The initiatives include the:
“purchase of generator sets for all 13 Passport Application Centers (PAC) in Ghana” and a “roll-out of E-Visa application hardware at our Missions abroad and at the Ghana Immigration Service.”
