Telecommunication giant Vodafone Ghana has alluded to rebranding the company as Telecel Ghana. A recent social media post revealed this.

This comes one year after Telecel obtained approval from the National Communication Authority to acquire Vodafone Ghana.

The Director General of NCA, Joe Anokye, in 2023 said Telecel had expected a greater part investor status, adding that the Government of Ghana through the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA) was also a minority investor with 30%.
