‘Manye Rebirth‘, the UK-Ghanaian Afrobeats singer-songwriter Manye Fi’s debut EP, is now officially available. The lead single from the five-song EP, “Rema,” is a lively and upbeat song that perfectly conveys the emotional dynamics of pursuing a romantic interest in spite of doubts.
Fans of “Rema” are moving to the music on social media sites like Instagram and TikTok.
The 18-year-old British-Ghanaian performer Manye Fi, whose real name is Fiona Cheryl Quartey, is well-known for fusing R&B, Afrobeats, and Afro Fusion. She started playing music early on, first studying the violin and then taught herself to play the piano.
She did, however, enter the music space professionally when her father gave her the all-clear to begin when he realized she is now old enough… Manye Fi was named BBC ‘Artist of the Week’ and will soon make appearances on BBC Live due to the international recognition of her skill.
