Not very far in the past, legendary American financial backer Warren Buffet’s name was all over the world, until other rich fellows also arose. Their names some way or another became an easily recognized name, making Warren Buffet being on the ‘quiet’.
However, the legendary investor is back, as he has recently joined the world’s most selective club of the super rich. He is presently worth $100 billion, as per Bloomberg Billionaire’s Index. This places him in the company of just five other men over that limit.
Warren Buffet is currently the 6th richest person in the world, positioning simply behind Facebook (FB) CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
The 90-year-old has added almost $13 billion to his total assets this year as offers in his modern and protection aggregate have flooded. Berkshire Hathaway (BRKA) is up almost 15% in 2021, giving the organization a market capitalization of more than $600 billion.
While Buffett has broken the $100 billion imprint, he’s as yet far behind the world’s richest person, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, who is valued at $180 billion, as per Bloomberg. Bezos has been exchanging the title with Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who’s currently worth $173 billion as shares in his electric carmaker rally from recent losses.
Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is No. 3 on the list at $138 billion, while Bernard Arnault, the chairman of luxury goods group LVMH (LVMHF), ranks No. 4 with $122 billion. Arnault is the wealthiest non-American on the list. Zuckerberg is No. 5 with a net worth of $101 billion.
Buffett has donated billions of dollars to philanthropic causes, and in 2006, pledged to give away almost all of his fortune to charity.
