West Ham Are Said To Be Interested In Wan-Bissaka

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

West Ham are said to be interested in Man United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The deal to sign Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich fell through at the last minute; Consequently, Aaron appears to be an option.

As new manager Julen Lopetegui looks to expand his right-back options ahead of the Premier League season, West Ham are lining up Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The 26-year-old has shown up for the Red Devils yet the side are purportedly open to offering the full-back to let loose assets for a mid year spending binge.

Vladimir Coufal was best option at the London Stadium last season, but Lopetegui is focusing on a revamped Hammers defence, having brought in Wolves’ Max Kilman for £40million this month.

Man United jumped in at the last minute after a £13.5 million deal for Bayern Munich right back Noussair Mazraoui fell through due to disagreements on the “agent’s side.”

Yet, any arrangement for the Bundesliga star would apparently depend on raising supports through selling Wan-Bissaka with Man United currently bringing their requests down to somewhere in the range of £10m and £15m, according to Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg.

Wan-Bissaka, a 26-year-old English right back, is in the final year of his contract at Old Trafford.

West Ham have made three significant signings such a long ways in this transfer window. Young talent Luis Guilherme joined the club from Palmeiras, while goalkeeper Wes Foderingham showed up on a free transfer following his takeoff from Sheffield United.

Despite the fact that a contract had already been reached between the two clubs, the east London outfit “dropped out of the race” to sign Mazraoui.

The news broke on Thursday that the Hammers had agreed a £13.5m fee with Bayern in addition to £3m in additional items.

The two parties, on the other hand, were unable to reach an agreement on the terms, so the deal fell through.

As they continue their summer overhaul, which has seen Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee leave in recent weeks, this has opened the door for United to pursue the Moroccan international.
