Who’s Accusing Thomas Partey? The Truth Behind The Rape Allegations

Based on claims made by three separate women, former Arsenal player Thomas Partey has been officially charged by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) with five charges of rape and one count of sexual assault after consulting with the Metropolitan Police.

These purported incidents took place in London between 2021 and 2022. One lady is charged with two rapes, another with three, and a third has accused him of sexual assault.

Partey, however, has refuted every one of the accusations. According to his legal team, he has complied with investigators and plans to refute the charges.

Although Partey’s name was kept secret at the time due to legal protections, the case was formally initiated in February 2022 and he was first taken into custody in July 2022.

Who are the Accusers?

In accordance with UK legislation, the accusers’ identities have not been made public. Officially, they are referred to as “three women” who made accusations covering several occurrences.

On August 5, 2025, Partey is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.

In order to prevent biased reporting, UK authorities remind the public to respect the right to a fair trial and stress that all offenders are assumed innocent.

The three official accusers are currently the ones whose evidence prompted CPS to authorize charges; the other social media users are still accused and there is no official complaint record available to the public.
