Ghana’s female national team the Black Queens of Ghana is on ‘fire’ with an incredible performance since the take over of coach Nora Häuptle. Throughout the long term, Black Queens have been exceptionally steady with a great on-field performance that has not been seen for quite a while.

Their last results against Rwanda is an indication of their advancement as a complete team. The Black Queens kept a resonating 7:0 battering of Rwanda in the first leg of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier (WAFCON) at the Kigali Pele stadium on Wednesday September 20.

Ghana had a penalty in 65th minute, but Jennifer Cudjoe missed it. Nonetheless, that didn’t discourage the Queens to keep up with their incredible play, as Anastaesia Achiaa made it six for them with a long reach strike on the 75th minute.

Anastaesia snatched her second a couple of minutes later as the Black Queens gathered it together with a 7-0 win against their Rwanda.

The return leg is scheduled for the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday September 26, 2023.

With this scoreline, the Black Queens have recorded a 100 percent execution with no goal against them in the last 6 games. The team has now scored 21 goals in 6 games under Nora Häuptle and are yet to concede.
