While the world was praising singer Rihanna for her incredible performance at the Super Bowl this past weekend, Trump, a former president of the United States, has a different perspective.
On Sunday, February 12, singer Rihanna performed at the Super Bowl for the first time in five years. Interestingly, the former President believes that Rihanna did not live up to expectations.
Mr. Trump said that Rihanna’s show was an “epic fail.” On his social media website, Truth Social, he shared his perspective with his followers.
He penned the following:
“ EPIC FAIL: Rihanna gave, without question, the single worst Halftime Show in Super Bowl history—This after insulting far more than half of our Nation, which is already in serious DECLINE, with her foul and insulting language. Also, so much for her ‘Stylist!’”
Trump has previously expressed his thoughts on the singer; He recently stated that the Grammy-winning singer is “nothing” without her “stylist” and has “no talent.”
Rihanna’s New Inspirational Song: The Comeback Is Phenomenal!
That was written in response to a post made on Truth Social by Ronny Jackson, a current U.S. representative who used to be a doctor in the White House and was unhappy that Rihanna was being paid to perform at the Super Bowl.
“Rihanna sprayed “F*** Donald Trump” on a car at the Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo.” She’s made a career of spewing degenerate filth and badmouthing America every chance she gets. Why is the NFL showcasing this crap? Rihanna should not perform at the halftime show!”, Trump wrote.
These criticisms may be as a result of the singer’s criticism of Trump throughout his presidency and her performing rights company’s 2018 decision to prevent his campaign from playing her music at rallies.
