
The World Bank Group has expressed that the intrusion in Ukraine will have sweeping monetary and social impact – beyond the quick effect it is now having on the lives and livelihoods of those in the country.
The World Bank Group keeps on planning with Ukraine and other development partners to evaluate these costs and foster a vigorous reaction to help the Ukrainian people during this trying period.

The World Bank’s general portfolio of projects in Ukraine upholds upgrades in fundamental public services, in regions, for example, water supply, sanitation, heating, power, energy efficiency, roads, social protection, education and healthcare, and private sector development.
Since Ukraine joined the World Bank in 1992, the Bank’s responsibilities to the Eastern European country have added up to more than $14 billion in around 90 projects and programs.
