World Cup Qualification: A List Of Those Qualified As At Now

Qatar 2022 World Cup is gradually drawing nearer, and practically every one of the countries have known their destiny, as the World Cup qualifying matches has entered its last stretch, with 31 of the 32 finalists currently known.

Ukraine was one of a handful of the countries hoping to qualify when they beat Wales in the first playoffs. Unluckily for them, Wales overturned the scoreline with an incredible performance to fit the bill for Qatar after sitting tight for this opportunity for 64 years.

Ukraine’s Dream To Be At The World Cup Dashed

Australia beat United Arab Emirates 2-1 on June 7 to keep dream alive. They now advance to an intercontinental playoff against Peru, to be played on June 13 for a spot at the World Cup.

New Zealand won the Oceania region, but this only earns a qualification playoff against Costa Rica, the fourth-placed team from CONCACAF, for a place at the World Cup.
