Xavi, Maradona, Pelé Make The List Of Best Midfielders Ever..

Former Barcelona stars Xavi Hernandez and Diego Maradona have both been chosen in the Ballon d’Or Dream Team, released on Monday December 14.

Xavi and the late Maradona were selected from the waitlist to be casted a ballot into the best players ever in their separate rankings.

According to the Ballon d’Or team, Xavi showed up for Barcelona somewhere in the range of 1998 and 2015, alongside winning 133 caps for the Spanish national team.

The former Barcelona star was selected by Ballon d’Or’s 140 journalists jury as best Defensive Midfielder ever!

He won eight La Liga titles close by three Copa del Rey crowns and four Champions League prizes in his complete of 25 titles with the club.

That said, Diego Armando Maradona, was additionally chosen by a similar number of journalists – (140 writers) jury as best Defensive Midfielder Ever!

Meanwhile, German Lothar Matthaus and Brazilian legend Pelé were also voted onto the team in the midfield positions.
