Zambia Make It To Paris 2024 After Shocking Morocco

The Copper Queens of Zambia are through to their second consecutive Olympics Games’ Football Competition after switching a 2-1 home loss to a 2-0 win over Morocco on Tuesday April 9.

Two important goals from the Copper Queens captain, Barbra Banda guaranteed that Zambia go through after a brazen start.

Banda gave the Zambians the lead not long before the break in the 40th minute which sprung hope into the guests against an exceptionally vivacious Morocco side.

Needing only a goal to book their ticket to Paris, Zambia sent more players forward and stuck the Moroccans into their own half who ultimately committed an error through a hand-ball by Najat Badri for the ref to call for a penalty shoot.
