
Veteran broadcaster Kwasi Aboagye has revealed that he will be bringing his long and influential radio career to an end at the close of the year. The popular Despite Media presenter made the announcement during the Thursday, November 27 edition of his flagship program, “Entertainment Review,” on Peace FM.
Aboagye, who has spent more than two decades as one of Ghana’s most respected voices in entertainment broadcasting, reflected on his journey with gratitude. He noted that the time had come to step aside and allow a new generation of broadcasters to take up the mantle.
According to him, his new found love is law, and he will fully be concentrating on it.
Throughout his career, Kwasi Aboagye became known for his sharp analysis, balanced commentary, and his ability to engage industry stakeholders on matters affecting the creative arts. His stewardship of “Entertainment Review” helped transform the show into one of the most authoritative platforms for entertainment discourse in the country.

In announcing his upcoming exit, Aboagye expressed appreciation to his listeners, colleagues, and the management of Despite Media for their support throughout his broadcasting journey. He, however, disclosed that, his next move is to fully concentrate on his Law career, leaving his fans ‘broken hearted’.
However, some of them have commended him for his dedication and significant contribution to Ghana’s entertainment landscape.
Aboagye is expected to continue hosting the program until the end of the year, after which he will officially bow out of radio.
