In a candid interview on Accra 100.5 FM today, renowned Ghanaian actor and senior broadcaster Kofi Adjorlolo, set the record straight regarding widespread online claims about his wealth. Addressing a Google write-up that pegged his net worth at $800,000, the veteran entertainer dismissed the figure as grossly inaccurate, revealing that he is not so sound financially as being put out there. He further said, he does not even own a car now.

“Google says I’m worth $800,000. If that were true, do you think I would be where I am now? I don’t even own a car at the moment. Yes, I have owned cars in the past, but as it stands, I don’t have one. “I don’t know where they got that figure from. These false reports are causing me more harm than good,” he clarified.

Adjorlolo expressed frustration over the impact of such misinformation, noting that individuals who previously offered him support stopped assisting after reading exaggerated claims about his wealth online.

“People see these things on Google and assume I’m living large. They don’t know the reality,” he lamented.

The veteran actor, known for his extensive career in Ghanaian and Nollywood films, has previously spoken about this issue. In 2020, Adjorlolo publicly criticized some Ghanaian movie producers for failing to pay him for his work, a situation that he said left him struggling to make ends meet. His latest remarks echo these challenges, shedding light on the discrepancies between public perceptions and his actual circumstances.
