Inside Seyi Shay And Tiwa Savage’s Feud: What Really Happened?

The reason behind the long-standing animosity between singer Seyi Shay and her colleague Tiwa Savage has finally been made public.

Shay described the events leading up to the rupture and that the ‘starter’ was her former personal assistant.

Shay recalled that the former employee was having an affair with Tiwa Savage’s estranged husband, Tunji Balogun, also known as TBillz, without her knowledge.

Therefore, Savage most likely believed that she (Shay) knew about the covert affair and was supporting it. Then she started acting weird towards her.

Years later, when she ran into her old PA in London, Seyi Shay said she learned about the covert romance and that he apologized for causing her to become estranged from Tiwa Savage.

She acknowledged that her previous PA’s actions were extremely bad and obnoxious, emphasizing that if she had been Tiwa Savage’s shoes, she would have acted worse.

The singer said in the podcast interview that she had no idea what was going on behind her.

When she told me this I was disgusted because we were rolling together and doing things together, meanwhile Tiwa probably thought I knew about it. You can just imagine the anger. It’s so painful. If that was me, I would have done worse.

Seyi Shay, meanwhile, disclosed that she was an Illuminati member prior to exiting.

Tiwa Savage Declares Strong Loyalty To Davido

Originally named Deborah Oluwaseyi Seyi Shay, disclosed that she was a member of the contentious secret organization, despite long-standing rumors that several Nigerian celebrities were involved with it. However, she accepted that, the membership was just a phase in her career.

She further explained that while fans may not know much about such connections, people within the entertainment industry often recognize those who were once linked to the group.

“It’s not the fans, guys. It’s the people in the industry… the ones who work with me, work with her, work with that one,” she added.
