Laryea Kingston Lands New Coaching Job In Uganda

Former Ghanaian international, Laryea Kingston has been appointed by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.

Kingston will serve as the head coach of Uganda’s U-17 and U-20 men’s national teams for the next two years.

In his post-playing career, this new coaching position represents yet another turning point.

When Kingston played with the Black Stars, he was renowned for his inventiveness and skills. Additionally, this is part of an endeavor to improve performance during the current league season and bolster the Ugandan technical bench.

Following his stellar tenure as coach of Ghana’s U-17 national team, where his enthusiasm and tactical discipline won worldwide acclaim, the former Heart of Midlothian and Hearts of Oak player recently made headlines.
