Mahama Ayariga’s Savage Message To NPP: ‘You’re Minuscule Minority Now’

Mahama Ayariga

Following the New Patriotic Party’s defeat in the Akwatia by-election and their refusal to run in the Tamale Central by-election, Mahama Ayariga, the majority leader in parliament, has called the number of minority members of parliament “minuscule.”

He stated that the minority MPs are now a “Minuscule Minority” rather than a micro minority when he spoke to members of parliament on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.

The NDC Majority, on the other hand, has grown from 183 to 185 members, making them a “gargantuan Majority”, he continued.

“With these two elections and the one that took place in Ablekuma, the House is fully constituted. The Independent Members of this House remain 4. The NPP which previously had a micro minority of 88 members has had its number shrink further to 87″.

“Mr. Speaker, I believe they are no longer a micro minority but a minuscule Minority. Micro could actually be a large number because Micro is a unit of measurement.

“In English when you want to describe something as very small, you say miniscule. The NDC super majority will ballon to 185 and when we add the four independent members who have agreed to do business with us, the NDC would become a gargantuan majority,” he stated.

Mahama Ayariga continued that, the NDC government has performed exceptionally well since assuming government.
