According to insiders, Hulk Hogan’s wife, Sky Daily, is “planning” to sue at least one of the WWE legend’s physicians as well as others for medical malpractice that she claims caused his death.
The main focus of the lawsuit would be the neck surgery that Hulk had back in May of this year.
Sky said she thinks the surgery “compromised” Hogan’s phrenic nerve, which regulates his breathing.
It is believed that those problems were a major factor in his final passing on July 24 at his house in Clearwater Beach, Florida. At the time of the emergency call, Hogan was having difficulty in breathing.
According to the sources, the 71-year-old Hulk just stopped breathing contrary to what was reported for having a heart attack. Police were notified of the suspected phrenic nerve damage by an occupational therapist who was present at Hulk’s home on the day of his death.

As part of her probe into possible medical malfeasance, Sky requested a private autopsy. Although she has not yet made the results public, the fact that she intends to file a lawsuit is a clear indication of what the autopsy will reveal.
Although the Clearwater Police Department is currently looking into the death, a summary report from the medical examiner’s cremation permission said that Hulk passed away from a heart attack.
