
Radio Gold 90.5FM has officially announced the passing of one of its dedicated presenters, Alex Kwesi Ayensu Baah, better known by his on-air name Okyeame Ayensu Badwenba. He was 56.
Okyeame Ayensu Badwenba was widely respected for his engaging delivery, connection with listeners, and contributions to Ghana’s media landscape. His work with Radio Gold made him a familiar presence for many audiences across Accra and beyond.
His passing marks a somber moment for colleagues, listeners, and the wider media fraternity.
Since the announcement, tributes have poured in from fellow broadcasters, fans, and media institutions, lamenting the untimely departure of a gifted broadcaster.
