Hulk Hogan is remembered by Sylvester Stallone as a formidable opponent. “We will never see another man like him in wrestling, movies, or reality TV,” Stallone said.
The ‘Rocky’ star said, when they first met on the set of “Rocky III” in 1982, Hulk exuded a certain glow. He knew Hulk was going to be a superstar, Sly claimed.
At the time, Hulk was still making his name, and according to Sly, he immediately discovered that the hideous Hogan was more intelligent, kind, and talented than he appeared.
He went on to say that Hulk, who weighed 315 pounds when he arrived on set, could easily lift him up and drop him to the ground. As a professional wrestler, Hulk developed the ability to stop his fall like a magician, but Sly quipped that he thought he would be a pulp by the time he struck the ground.
Throughout his career, Sly has been hit with many blows, but he claims that no one was more exact or precise than the Hulk. He even showed off the Hulk’s fist trick.
Hulk passed away in Florida on Tuesday following a heart arrest. He was seventy-one.
According to Sly, Hogan’s passing is a terrible loss because, like the late Carl Weathers, who starred in the “Rocky” movie series, he was an irreplaceable celebrity.
Sly believes that since Ozzy Osbourne also passed away on Tuesday, he has had a difficult week because the industry have lost some “real monumental human beings.”
Hulk made a name for himself in reality TV, pro wrestling, and movies. According to Sly, Hogan was a brilliant businessman who overcame a lot of pain and injuries by being as kind as possible to everyone he met and never complaining.
Sly claims that Hulk was a man who defended himself and risked his life for his convictions, as seen by his endorsement of Donald Trump at the RNC last year. Although Hogan received criticism, Sly claims that knowing Hogan has improved him as a person.
Sly said, Hogan’s journey to become a Hollywood titan began when Hulk was cast as Thunderlips in “Rocky III.” She also shared a few amusing anecdotes from the movie’s production.
The Wrestling World Is Mourning: Hulk Hogan Dies
Sly’s first story about the Hulk is about how a jumping Hogan broke his collarbone. “So much for being gentle,” Sly says the Hulk informed him prior to the disastrous stunt.
You have to hear why Hogan made Stallone feel like a donut in the second story, as the Hulk effortlessly breaks out of Sly’s headlock.
The evidence can be found in “Rocky III.” Sly points to a scene in which Hogan processes a line of stuntmen like a “lawn mower.”
