Wendy Williams Makes It Official: No More TV Hosting

According to sources, Wendy Williams has no desire to anchor talk shows on television again. She has chosen to embark on a speaking tour and is now concentrating on advocating for those under guardianship.

Joe Tacopina, Williams’ lawyer, stated in a recent interview with “Extra” that Williams has discussed with him her desire to reveal what she perceives to be a “abusive” system.

“It’s just so unjust, and quite despicable. What she said to me… more than once, is, ‘Joe, I wish I weren’t in this situation… but if someone is going to be in this situation, better me with a platform, so I can expose the system,’” the Tacopina said.

Wendy Williams is now ready to start a new chapter in her work teaching guardianships to families.

She is determined to stop what she refers to as abuse since she has herself been ensnared in a terrible guardian position.

The National Radio Hall of Famer has indicated that she would like to share her knowledge through a speaking tour. In order to shield families from guardianships, she will shortly embark on this tour. She wants to discuss all of the warning signs and how to get out of it.

There were rumors that Williams had a setback earlier this month after it was revealed that she had frontotemporal dementia and aphasia, according to recent medical reports.

Williams, however, has denied having mental health problems, and Tacopina told “Extra” that he thinks the claim that Williams’ guardian had something to do with it is untrue.

“Do I sound like I have dementia to you?” she recently asked during a recent interview in one of her New York outings.

Williams hired Tacopina, who has defended clients like A$AP Rocky and President Donald Trump, to fight for her in case she has to go to trial to get out of her guardianship. He says the next steps will be for her to complete a medical exam “by a neutral physician,” he stressed.
