Nana Romeo, an experienced radio personality, has announced his departure from Accra 100.5 FM. He made this announcement during his mid-morning broadcast on Thursday, May 22.
Some callers expressed their sadness at his departure after years of service to the station, while others wished him well wherever he is heading.
Although he has not yet disclosed his future move, there are rumors that he will be taking Abeiku Santana’s place at Okay FM, a division of the Despite Media Group.
Abeiku Santana’s departure following his appointment as Deputy CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority is connected to this possible transfer.
Nana Romeo hosts the Saturday entertainment program “Entertainment Capital” and the mid-morning show “Ayekoo Ayekoo.” He has received recognition for his efforts, including “Man of the Year” in 2022 and “Best Male Radio Host” at the 2021 Time Ghana Arts and Entertainment Awards.
Meanwhile, Okay FM has not confirmed the relocation in an official statement.
