Shakira Surpasses 1 Million Ticket Sales. Its A New Tour Record

An unparalleled feat in live music sales was achieved on July 31, 2025, when it was reported that Shakira had sold over a million tickets in Mexico alone on her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.

The Colombian pop sensation has surpassed the number of tickets sold in Mexico for this Tour, setting a new record for live music sales.

According to promoter OCESA, ticket sales in Mexico alone have surpassed one million, which is a first for a Latin artist in the nation. Shakira has performed at Mexico City’s Estadio GNP Seguros, formerly the famed Foro Sol, 12 times, more than any other artist in the venue’s history.

Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran had already made about $130 million by the middle of 2025, which put Shakira at the top of Billboard’s mid-year Boxscore rankings.

The tour’s Latin America leg ended earlier this year with 25 stadium performances in 11 cities, including Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Bogotá, Rio de Janeiro, and Buenos Aires, selling 1.3 million tickets.

With her No. 2 position globally, Shakira’s tour is now the first Latin performer to make it into the global Top 10 in Boxscore’s 2025 rankings. The tour’s potent fusion of high-production shows and themes of empowerment has resulted in significant economic benefits for the host towns, including increases in hotel occupancy and millions of pesos in tourism earnings.

Shakira’s Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran Tour is showing no signs of stopping down, with more events in Mexico and North America scheduled through late 2025, including Fresno and Fresno, CA. Her speed underscores both her artistry and commercial dominance in live touring.

This milestone firmly cements Shakira’s status as a global touring powerhouse. Her ongoing success across Latin America and North America marks one of the most successful Latin tours of the decade.
