Taylor Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department” makes history as the most pre-saved album ever on Spotify.

The record-breaking response on the music streaming platform came after Taylor Swift released another teaser for TTPD on April 17.

Even Before it was released on April 19, Taylor Swift’s most recent album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” set a record. The record for the most pre-saved countdown page albums in Spotify history has been broken by this 11th album.

On April 17, Taylor Swift released a second teaser for TTPD, which resulted in the music streaming platform breaking a record. The clip from Instagram offered a first glimpse of the singer’s forthcoming project.

On Spotify, people are so enthusiastic about the singer’s new album. “The Tortured Poets Department” is off to a great start with this record. The album was formally released at 8 p.m. ET on Friday, April 19.

The pop star released a teaser on Thursday that offered glimpses into the fictional literary society prior to the release. Before the point of view rushed down a corridor and into the TTPD hall, the aesthetics showed a Midnights-themed room filled with various objects, a clock that was ticking at two in the morning, a window that let in light, and a few scattered vinyl records.

The singer is determined to adapt the real world to her imagined fictional society. Around American cities, QR-coded murals that link to Swift’s TTPD teasers have appeared. In addition, a library installation with a lot of “visual surprises” was made possible through a partnership with Spotify at The Grove in Los Angeles.
